CEMCO Inc.

CEMCO Inc. is a subsidiary of LaMesCo which headed by Mr. Raymond Latchmansingh – Managing Director, and is divided into four (4) divisions.  These divisions are:

1. Engineering – this division is headed by Mr. Raymond Latchmansingh who also assumes the title and responsibility of Managing Director.  As Managing Director, he is responsible for the company’s engineering services which are supported by a Chief Engineer, a team of qualified engineers and other experienced technical personnel.
2.  Finance and Administration -this division is headed by Mrs. Amanda Persaud.  She is not only responsible for all financial matters relating to the business of the company, she also has the responsibility for the company’s efficient administration, including all personnel matters.
3. Social Sector and Rural Development – the Social Sector division is headed by an associate, Ms. Kathleen Whalen.  It works closely with the engineering division insofar as any activity relating to social and rural development contains an engineering component.  This division is the arm from which come those services relating to human resource development and community participation.
4. Environmental -Our Environmental sector is supported by national, regional and international consultants in undertaking the EIA process and environmental management as required by the EPA.  We also have on staff a full-time environmentalist, Mrs. Hemwantie Tiwari-Singh.
